Job summary

Yona Solutions seeks an Environmental Services Manager to oversee housekeeping and laundry operations at a skilled nursing facility. You will ensure a clean, sanitary, and safe environment in compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines.

You will lead staff, manage budgets, and coordinate with facility leadership to deliver quality resident care while promoting a culture of responsibility and growth.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree is strongly desired; related managerial experience preferred.
• Two years of experience in housekeeping services in a healthcare environment and personnel supervision is desired.
• Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and quality attitude.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients housekeeping, floor care, and laundry staff.
• Trains workers in housekeeping, laundry, and floor care procedures and proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and supervises functions and activities of the departments.
• Supervises and evaluates the quality of work completed by department employees.
• Maintains a sanitary, attractive, and orderly environment.
• Forecasts and plans procurement of cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment.
• Schedules staffing to ensure adequate services; maintains proper staffing levels.
• Maintains records including inventory, compliance, and income/expense.
