Qualifications

• 4–8 years of health care regulatory and compliance experience from a law firm.
• Significant experience advising health care providers on federal and state regulatory matters.
• Strong knowledge of Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute and health care fraud regulations.
• Experience with provider compensation, licensure, reimbursement, regulatory audits and compliance.
• Experience conducting health care regulatory due diligence in corporate transactions.
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior associates.
• Active Bar membership and eligibility to admit in the relevant jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Advise health care providers on federal and state regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Provide guidance on fraud and abuse regulations, including Stark Law and AKS.
• Counsel on provider compensation arrangements and health care business structures.
• Advise on licensure, enrollment, reimbursement and billing compliance.
• Assist regulatory audits, investigations and compliance programs.
• Conduct due diligence in middle-market and large-scale transactions.
• Identify regulatory risks and support resolution during transactions.
• Advise on telehealth regulations and evolving requirements.
• Collaborate with corporate teams on complex health care matters.
• Supervise, mentor and train junior associates.
