Job summary

HopeWest is seeking an Events Coordinator to plan and execute fundraising and donor engagement events across its service areas. You will manage timelines, budgets, vendors, registrations, and volunteers with a focus on mission-aligned guest experiences.

The role requires strong project management, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work evenings and weekends. Local travel and collaboration with the Chief Development Officer and Marketing are essential components of this position.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in event management or related field preferred.
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Minimum two years' professional event planning or fundraising experience preferred.
• Experience coordinating multiple events and vendors with volunteers is preferred.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute HopeWest fundraising and donor events across service areas.
• Manage timelines, budgets, vendors, logistics, and registrations.
• Coordinate volunteers, sponsorships, auctions, and post‑event follow‑up.
• Collaborate with Development leadership, donor relations, marketing, and regional teams.
• Travel locally/regionally; work evenings and weekends as events require.
