Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Social Worker for a K–12 school setting in Windsor, CO. You’ll provide counseling, crisis support, and collaborate with school teams to support students’ social-emotional well‑being.

We welcome both new and experienced clinicians and offer a coalition of benefits with W-2 employment, liability insurance, healthcare, and 401(k) matching. This role includes a 1.0 FTE schedule, Monday–Friday for the 2026–2027 school year.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field.
• Valid Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility by start date).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis response skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.
• Passion for supporting students’ mental health and well‑being.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional development.
• Support crisis intervention, de‑escalation, and safety planning as needed.
• Participate in IEP, MTSS, and student support team meetings.
• Conduct assessments related to social-emotional and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Support attendance, engagement, and wraparound services for students and families.
• Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Connect families to community resources and supports.
