Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time School Social Worker for a K-12 school setting in Longmont, CO. You will provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health, collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers, and participate in IEP/MTSS team meetings.

Qualifications

• MSW degree or related field (eligibility by start date may apply).
• Colorado CDE Special Services Provider license with School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and crisis response skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health.
• Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning.
• Participate in IEP, MTSS, and student support team meetings.
• Conduct assessments related to social-emotional and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers.
• Support attendance, engagement, and wraparound services for students and families.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation.
• Connect families to community resources and supports.
