Job summary

Community Progress Council, Inc. is seeking a Home-Based Coordinator to lead Early Head Start Home-Based Family Coaches and oversee the Parents as Teachers curriculum, promoting positive child and family outcomes.

You will ensure program quality, compliance, and strong family engagement while coordinating with staff and community partners to connect families with resources. The role emphasizes coaching, documentation, and collaboration to advance CPC’s mission and support families across the

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Early Childhood Education, Family Studies, or a related field required.
• Two years of experience in home visiting, family services, or a related field preferred.
• At least two years of supervisory or management experience required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse families and ensure program compliance with Head Start standards.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
• Experience using electronic case management systems such as ChildPlus.
• Experience coaching using a family-centered approach.

• Stay informed on Head Start standards and early childhood trends.
• Oversee Parents as Teachers curriculum delivery and parent education.

• Support families in education, employment, and financial goals.
• Promote child development through screenings and curriculum planning.
• Maintain accurate records and timely reporting.
• Drive program data review for compliance and outcomes.
