Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Investigate reported child abuse, determine substantiation, and recommend disposition.
• Assess risk to the child and determine need for removal to a protected environment.
• Perform needs assessments and develop treatment options for families.
• Prepare reports and briefing documents for court and teams.
• Develop case plans to promote self-sufficiency and permanent outcomes.
• Monitor service providers and coordinate care with various programs.
• Possibly serve in a supervisory capacity depending on agency needs.
