Qualifications

• Hold or be eligible for a valid Georgia Educator Certificate.
• Maintain highly confidential information professionally.
• Work well with students, parents, staff and the community.
• Abide by the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
• Regularly and reliably present at the worksite.
• Meet the needs of students with severe disabilities as assigned.
• Supervise students, particularly during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and review IEPs/ILPs for each student on caseload.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and Related Services staff.
• Maintain lesson plans and ensure timely documentation.
• Conduct data-driven behavior management including FBAs and BIPs.
• Administer formative/summative assessments and report progress to parents.
• Ensure compliance with due process safeguards and district policies.
