Job summary

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials for active learning.
• Assist with eligibility/IEP processes and learning plans.
• Develop, implement, monitor, and review IEPs/ILPs for students on caseload.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and Related Services Staff to provide services.
• Maintain lesson plans and adhere to policies and directives.
• Deliver instruction aligned to students’ IEPs/ILPs using data-driven methods.
• Implement data-driven behavior management including FBAs and BIPs.
• Use formative and summative assessments and report progress to guardians.
• Ensure due process safeguards are afforded to students and parents/guardians.
• Adhere to district policies and federal/state regulations.
• Serve as a resource to general education teachers for students with disabilities.
• Maintain prompt and professional communication with parents.
• Participate in district, school, department, and parent meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
