Job summary

Target-Community- is seeking a dedicated employment specialist to help participants with disabilities explore opportunities, gain skills, and obtain competitive integrated employment through person-centered planning.

You will conduct job development, provide coaching, document progress in CIMS, and collaborate with employers, participants, and staff to ensure safe, meaningful placements and ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree and two years of experience working with people with disabilities and/or the business community preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with participants to develop and implement job development plans.
• Coordinate community job development for paid placements within the region.
• Communicate between participants, employers, and staff following current policies.
• Maintain required documentation in current systems (CIMS) timely.
• Provide on-site training to Employment Consultants and/or DSPs after a participant starts new employment.
• Ensure safety and quality of services at job sites.
