Job summary

Avanos Medical is seeking a Payroll & HR Operations Specialist - EMEA to own payroll and employee data across our EU entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will collaborate with the social secretariat, manage benefits, and build HR reports to provide management with clear visibility on headcount, absences, overtime, and more. Fluency in English and Dutch is required, with knowledge of Belgian labor law a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of payroll management and HR operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and Belgian labor law; EMEA experience a plus.
• Hands-on with HRIS/payroll tools like SAP HR, Workday, SuccessFactors.
• Fluency in English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, run, and verify monthly payroll for EU entities.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR system data.
• Ensure compliance with Belgian labor and tax regulations.
• Be the go-to person for payroll and benefits questions.
• Build and maintain HR reports for management visibility (headcount, absence, overtime).
• Collaborate with external partners and HR leadership on projects.
