Job summary

Avanos Medical, Inc. is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist for EMEA to ensure payroll accuracy, data integrity and compliant HR insights across the region.

You will own payroll processing, employee data, and benefit administration in collaboration with local teams. The role requires 3–5 years’ payroll experience, Belgian labor law knowledge, and fluency in English and Dutch; SAP HR/Workday/SuccessFactors experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in payroll management and HR operations.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written).
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and Belgian labor law.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, run, and verify monthly payroll in close collaboration with our social secretariat (6 EU-based legal entities).
• Keep employee records and HR system data accurate, up to date, and audit-ready
• Ensure full compliance with Belgian labor and tax regulations
• Be the go-to person for employees on payroll and benefits questions
• Manage insurance and benefits administration — affiliations, de-registrations, changes, and provider communication
• Build and maintain HR reports that give management clear visibility (headcount, absenteeism, overtime, and more)
• Help drive process improvements and data quality across HR operations
• Liaise with external partners such as social security, tax authorities, and insurance providers
• Partner closely with the HR Operations Manager on a variety of strategic HR projects
