Qualifications

• 4-year combination of education, training, and/or progressively responsible experience in a social services setting to form basis for judgments in eligibility determinations.
• OR a Bachelor's Degree in Social Services, Business Administration, or related field.
• Strong interviewing, data gathering, and customer service skills necessary to determine eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate information and apply program standards to determine complex eligibility for multiple programs.
• Use multiple technology systems to enter, review, and verify eligibility data.
• Explain program rules and decisions in writing, phone, and in person.
• Review information received electronically or by mail to ensure completeness and compliance.
• Connect individuals with additional programs and services to support health and wellbeing.
• Engage in outreach to provide program information and determine eligibility.
