Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education.
• Current Professional Educator License and endorsements.
• Ability to read, write and communicate with students and parents.

Responsibilities

• Communicates, collaborates, and cooperates with colleagues, supervisors, and students.
• Plans curriculum, lessons, and special Education programs and teaching methods.
• Evaluates student progress based on papers, tests and observations.
• Maintains contact with parents of students.
• Supervises students and directs paraprofessionals.
• Assists in screening, evaluating and recommending placements of students.
• Prepares report cards, reading records, IPEC forms and classroom forms.
