Job summary

Sylvania seeks a highly qualified elementary paraeducator to support students and teachers across instructional tasks in various areas such as lunchroom, playground, prep time, and media center. • High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be physically working in the building.
• 60 semester/90 quarter credits or an associate's degree (or higher) or have passed the ParaEducator exam or ParaPro exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist students individually or in groups with lesson assignments.
• Support students in behavior/skills room and reinforce positive social, emotional, and behavioral skills.
• Prepare and maintain student records and reports, media inventory, and supervise common areas.
