Job summary

Excelitas Technologies in Boulder, Colorado, seeks an EH&S Specialist to support regulatory compliance, maintain EH&S systems, and drive proactive facility initiatives. The role covers inspections, incident investigations, and coordination of corrective actions across shifts.

You will manage OSHA records, SDS programs, MOC reviews, and environmental reporting, while partnering with contractors and internal teams to uphold safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or related field; equivalent combination may be considered.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, laboratory, or regulated environment.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and CDPHE requirements.
• Experience developing, implementing, and maintaining EHS programs.
• Experience conducting incident investigations and internal compliance audits.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Conduct routine safety inspections, audits, and workplace assessments including documentation and corrective action tracking.
• Coordinate and monitor corrective and preventive actions for timely completion.
• Maintain OSHA records and EHS documentation including regulatory filings.
• Administer and maintain SDS program and OSHA Hazard Communication compliance.
• Support MOC process reviews for chemicals, equipment, and process changes.
• Prepare environmental reports and regulatory documentation (Tier II, hazardous waste, air, wastewater).
• Assist with incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
