ROI is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Consultant to support diverse client environments with hands-on fieldwork and practical safety improvements. You will measure hazards, collect samples, and evaluate control systems while working with client personnel to ensure compliance.

The role emphasizes clear communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 2+ years of EH&S experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Measure hazards such as noise and ergonomics using calibrated equipment.
• Collect samples of dusts, vapors, and gases.
• Measure and evaluate effectiveness of ventilation systems and fume hoods.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections and PPE evaluations.
• Engage with workers during inspections and discuss safety concerns.
• Assist with accident investigations and corrective actions.
• Communicate safety issues and corrective actions to client personnel.
• Conduct routine EH&S safety training including orientation and forklift training.
• Prepare written accident reports and OSHA records.
