Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking an Educational Diagnostician to identify students’ needs and advocate for resources that enable success. You’ll conduct psycho-educational evaluations, review findings with families and district staff, and help design interventions that improve access to education.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Special Education or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Proficiency with computer-based special education systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform psycho-educational evaluations to determine eligibility and need for specialized services.
• Review findings with parents and district staff and communicate clearly and compassionately.
• Develop evidence-based interventions to improve student performance and access to education.
• Participate in ARD meetings and related discussions to ensure program effectiveness.

Your Role:

As anEducational Diagnostician, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the educational journey of students by identifying their unique needs and advocating for the resources that enable their success. Your key responsibilities will include:

Conduct Evaluations: Perform psycho-educational assessments to determine students’ eligibility and need for specialized services.

Communicate Findings: Review evaluation findings with parents and district staff, providing clear and compassionate communication.

Develop Interventions: Collaborate with teams to create evidence-based interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.

Support Team: Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to ensure special education programs meet every student’s needs effectively.
