Job summary

Candor Consulting & Diagnostics is seeking an Educational Diagnostician to help shape the educational journey of students by identifying needs and advocating for resources.

The role involves evaluations, communicating findings to parents and staff, developing evidence-based interventions, and supporting ARD meetings to ensure programs meet student needs. Great benefits and flexible scheduling offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited university in Special Education or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Proficiency in computer-based special education systems.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-educational assessments to determine eligibility for specialized services.
• Review evaluation findings with parents and district staff and communicate clearly and compassionately.
• Develop evidence-based interventions in collaboration with teams to improve student performance and access to education.
• Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and related discussions to ensure appropriate programs for students.

• Develop Interventions: Collaborate with teams to create evidence-based interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Support Team: Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to ensure special education programs meet every student’s needs effectively.
