Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Special Education from an accredited university.
• At least one year of experience as an Educational Diagnostician.
• Proficiency in computer-based special education systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psycho-educational evaluations to determine eligibility and need for services.
• Review findings with parents and district staff, communicating clearly and compassionately.
• Develop evidence-based interventions to improve student performance, participation, and access to education.
• Participate in ARD meetings and parent conferences to ensure programs meet students’ needs.

As anEducational Diagnostician, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the educational journey of students by identifying their unique needs and advocating for the resources that enable their success. Your key responsibilities will include:

Conduct Evaluations: Perform psycho-educational assessments to determine students’ eligibility and need for specialized services.

Communicate Findings: Review evaluation findings with parents and district staff, providing clear and compassionate communication.

Develop Interventions: Collaborate with teams to create evidence-based interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.

Support Team: Participate in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to ensure special education programs meet every student’s needs effectively.
