Job summary

Candor is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas to help students overcome communication challenges and thrive in school settings. You’ll evaluate needs, communicate findings to families and district staff, and design targeted, evidence-based interventions in collaboration with ARD committees.

You may deliver therapy directly or supervise assistants to support IEP goals. We offer flexible schedules (full-time, part-time, or as-needed), competitive pay starting at $55 per hour,

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited SLP program is required.
• Active Texas licensure to practice as an SLP is required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification is required.

Your Role:

As aSpeech-Language Pathologist, you’ll play a vital role in helping students overcome communication challenges and thrive in their educational settings. Here’s how you’ll contribute:

Evaluate Needs: Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations to identify students’ needs for specialized therapy services.

Communicate Findings: Share evaluation results with parents and district personnel, ensuring clear and compassionate communication.

Develop Interventions: Collaborate with the ARD committee to create targeted, evidence-based therapeutic interventions that enhance student performance, participation, and access to education.

Provide Therapy: Deliver therapy services directly or supervise Speech-Language Pathology Assistants in implementing IEP goals.

Monitor Progress:Maintain accurate, detailed records of student progress and use data to adjust interventions as needed.

Support Team: Participate in ARD meetings, parent conferences, and other relevant discussions to advocate for and support students’ special education programs.
