Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an experienced RN for our Emergency Department. The role uses the nursing process to provide patient care, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

This part-time position offers a 6:30pm-7:00am schedule, 24 hours/week, sign-on bonus up to $20,000, and day-one benefits including medical, dental, and vision. Join a dedicated team in a 26-bed ED with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio and strong support from techs.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license)
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly
• ACLS and BLS certifications required (or within 30 days)

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and staff.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by other caregivers.
