About Play is seeking an Early Interventionist to serve in Columbia, Lexington, Newberry, Kershaw, and Fairfield counties in South Carolina. The role focuses on delivering family-centered early intervention services to infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 1 year of experience with children birth to six, with a willingness for on-the-job training and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience with children birth to six years.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and willingness for on-the-job training.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities.
• Perform family training with the caregiver and child in home, daycare or natural environment.
• Provide training, education, and support to families in child development, parenting, and family functioning.
• Develop and implement strategies to promote child development.
• Monitor progress of child and family.
