Job summary

Yellow Brick Road Early Childhood is seeking an Assistant Educator to support the Lead Educator in creating a nurturing, inclusive learning environment where young children thrive. You will help deliver play-based lessons, supervise activities, and document developmental progress with the guidance of the Lead Educator.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children in a childcare setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Educator with play-based, age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain a positive classroom culture focused on safety and curiosity.
• Supervise children and monitor development with documentation.
• Support family communication via the Parent Communication app.
• Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe classroom; support routines.
• Assist in conflict resolution with developmentally appropriate techniques.
