Job summary

Yellow Brick Road is seeking an Educator's Aide to support educators in creating a nurturing, inclusive classroom where young children thrive. You will assist with play-based lesson plans, help maintain a safe and organized space, and contribute to positive behavior guidance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Lead Educator and Director, involves daily family communication, and requires meeting DHS Teacher’s Aide qualifications.

Qualifications

• Must meet Minnesota DHS Teacher’s Aide qualification requirements.
• Experience working with young children in a childcare setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Lead Educator in implementing play-based, age-appropriate activities aligned with Minnesota’s early learning standards.
• Provide active supervision to ensure children’s safety and engagement in all activities.
• Assist in maintaining an organized, clean, and safe classroom environment and support positive behavior guidance.
• Greet families at drop-off/pick-up and share daily updates via the school’s communication platform.
