Management & Training Corporation (MTC) at the J.W. Hamilton Pre-Release Unit in Bryan, TX is hiring for a full-time position. You will instruct offenders in DWI programs, evaluate eligibility, and maintain detailed records.

The role requires communication skills, varied teaching strategies, and adherence to safety protocols. Qualifications include an associate's degree or relevant licensure (LCDC/LPC), two years of direct client services, Texas DWI training, CPR certification, and a valid TX

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or professional license in related field.
• Active LCDC/LPC license or intern status required.
• At least two years of direct client services experience.
• Completion of Texas DWI Education In-Service Training.
• Current CPR certification and valid Texas driver's license.
• Ability to pass annual background check and training.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to offenders for the DWI programs.
• Interviews, screens, and evaluates offenders for program participation.
• Maintain offender records and compile data and reports.
• Communicate effectively and use varied teaching strategies.
• Administer and evaluate pre/post-test instruments.
• Model positive social skills and provide feedback to staff.
• Ensure staff, offender, and property safety and accountability.
