Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking a Substance Abuse Counselor I at the J.W. Hamilton Pre-Release Unit in Bryan, Texas. The role pays $19.00 per hour and involves full-time, 8-hour shifts, with a schedule Monday through Friday.

Qualificações

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess current valid LCDC-CI registration or CCJP-A certification.
• Must obtain LCDC licensure or CCJP within five years from registration.
• Must sign a Credential Contingency Agreement.

Responsabilidades

• Provide substance abuse counseling and recovery skills training; participate in inmate orientation and counseling groups.
• Facilitate DWI intervention classes.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive treatment plan based on evaluation results.
• Maintain accurate case reports, confidentiality, and required documentation.
• Connect inmates with community resources for placement in follow-up treatment.
