Job summary

The ASPCA in Champaign, IL is seeking a Donation Processing & Reconciliation Analyst to ensure accurate, timely processing of donor contributions and manage payment exceptions. You will reconcile donations, maintain donor data quality, and support donor stewardship initiatives.

Reporting to the Director, Accounting and Operations, you will develop reports, identify trends, and implement process improvements to strengthen ASPCA’s donor experience and financial controls.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Salesforce, online portals, and Microsoft tools (Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to learn new programs and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Confidential handling of financial information.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate operational data into actionable recommendations to improve donor experience and data integrity.
• Develop dashboards tracking exception volume, accuracy, SLA performance, aging, and trends.
• Analyze donation data to identify risks and process improvements across lockbox, payment, portal, and donor database workflows.
• Serve as SME for complex donation and reconciliation issues and escalate systemic concerns with solutions.
• Perform quality assurance reviews of high-risk transactions and identify training needs and gaps.
• Refine exception processing workflows to boost efficiency and reconciliation performance.
• Generate and report on exception volumes, backlog, and trends for leadership.
