Job summary

ASPCA is seeking a Director, Donor Experience to design and deliver year‑round donor engagement experiences that deepen support and showcase the organization's impact. You will partner with frontline fundraisers, program teams, and leaders to create meaningful tours, briefings, events, and personalized donor interactions.

In this role you will manage a dynamic portfolio, lead event planning from concept to post‑event follow‑up, and ensure donor records and reporting are accurate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in donor events, stewardship, donor relations, or nonprofit engagement.
• Experience planning and executing sophisticated, high-touch events for major donor audiences.
• Staff or volunteer management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a year-round portfolio of donor engagement experiences, including tours, briefings, educational programs, virtual events, and stewardship opportunities.
• Design innovative donor experiences that highlight ASPCA's programs and mission impact.
• Identify and pilot new donor engagement concepts reflecting evolving donor interests and stewardship best practices.
• Maintain understanding of ASPCA programs and donor interests to create meaningful engagement opportunities.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices in donor stewardship and event management.
