Job summary

Rise, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our Supported Employment Team in Minnesota. Openings in Fridley, Maple Grove, and Stillwater with a Monday–Friday schedule; hours vary 7am–5pm.

Wage is $18.91–$19.96 per hour based on experience and qualifications. You will train and support adults with disabilities to develop skills for community-based employment, promote independence, and help meet personal goals.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and database systems.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
• Ability to meet DHS Rule 11 and Rise MVR background check requirements.
• Reliable attendance.
• Strong teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Training and assisting person served to perform tasks efficiently.
• Ensure quality and production levels are met.
• Track and record person served individual work production.
• Provide support services to four to eight people.
• Implement goals based on the individual's ability to carry out the training objectives.
• Regularly communicate with team members.
• Supervise persons served while working and during break times.
• Provides transportation services as needed. Rise's vehicle may be provided.
