Job summary

Project Genesis, Inc. is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver / Companion for part-time, evening shifts in Connecticut. No healthcare experience is required—paid training is provided. You will help adults with acquired brain injuries live more independently, assist with daily living, and support community engagement.

We value reliability, compassion, and the ability to work one-on-one with clients. Training includes ABI Certification and ongoing coaching to grow in the role.

Qualifications

• Non-medical, companion support experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to assist with daily living activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks.
• Support personal care and daily living activities.
• Encourage community participation and social engagement.
• Maintain documentation and follow care plans.
• Travel within service area when required.
