Job summary

Project Genesis, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver / Companion for part-time, per diem roles in Hebron, CT. You will provide non-medical support to adults with acquired brain injuries, helping them live more independently and engage in daily activities.

No healthcare experience? Paid training and ABI certification are provided. This role welcomes college students, recent grads, retirees, and career changers seeking meaningful, flexible work with ongoing supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver''s license and reliable vehicle.
• Willingness to travel within your assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and light household tasks.
• Support personal care and daily living activities.
• Encourage community participation and social engagement.
• Help clients build confidence and independence.
• Assist with budgeting and financial management.
• Maintain documentation and follow individualized care plans.
• Be someone the client can count on.
