Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges in a Saturday–Sunday–weekday schedule. You will provide hands-on support, assist with daily living tasks, and follow individualized care plans in a compassionate team setting.

The role includes medication administration, documentation of progress, and opportunities for growth within a mission-driven nonprofit that emphasizes dignity and independence for clients.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience in disability services preferred (not required—we train!)
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license – driving record requirements: at least 3 years unsuspended with ≤3 points, or at least 2 years unsuspended with a clean record

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect
• Assist with personal care including: dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing and other daily living skills
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress
• Administer medications in accordance with policy
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment
• Use approved behavior support techniques
• Encourage community engagement and participation
• Some DSP roles will require travel and support from Residential to Day programs
