Job summary

Grow Developmental Disability Solutions is seeking a Direct Support Worker to assist children and adults with developmental disabilities. You’ll work one-on-one to support daily routines, community involvement, and personal goals in a respectful, empowering manner.

Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma, and at least 1 year of caregiving. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and CPR/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required
• Must pass all state-required background checks and ODDS employment eligibility
• CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines (cooking, cleaning, personal care with the client)
• Help clients get into the community and stay engaged
• Follow care plans and goals
• Communicate with families and your team
• Complete notes and documentation
• Ensure safety and well-being at all times
