Grow Developmental Disability Solutions is hiring a Direct Support Worker to support children and adults with ID/DD in community and home settings. You’ll follow individual care plans, assist with daily activities, and help clients achieve personal goals with dignity and respect.

The role emphasizes one-on-one support, safety, and consistent teamwork with families. A valid driver’s license and background checks are required; the position offers flexible hours and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required
• Must pass all state-required background checks and meet ODDS employment eligibility
• CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines (cooking, cleaning, personal care with the client)
• Help clients get into the community and stay engaged
• Follow care plans and goals
• Communicate with families and your team
• Complete notes and documentation
• Ensure safety and well-being at all times
