Association for Individual Development (AID) seeks an Entry-Level Direct Support Professional - 24 HC to join our Shabbona CILA team in Batavia, IL. You will work with adults who have developmental, intellectual or mental health challenges, assisting with daily living, meals, medication administration and community activities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• License/certifications: CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or Autism Certificate desired.
• Experience: Experience working with developmentally disabled adults preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a team approach with clients, staff, and outside agencies.
• Plan and prepare meals following dietician-approved menus.
• Assist in self-care activities and monitor client health.
• Provide transportation for clients as needed.
• Attend meetings, shifts, and trainings as scheduled.
