Job summary

The role requires ARRT eligibility, completion of an approved radiologic technology program, and timely registry acquisition. Rotating daytime shifts with potential variations to meet hospital needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT registry eligible; must obtain radiography registry within 6 months of hire.
• Temporary permits require direct supervision and ARRT certification within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Identifies patients using two identifiers and applies universal protocol.
• Reviews and documents patient history; assesses physician orders.
• Administers contrast per physician orders and department policy.
• Ensures exams are coded and archived in RIS and ISITE systems; charges entered.
