Qualifications

• Graduate of a Medical Imaging Program.
• Must possess current Radiography License as required by state board where services will be provided.
• National certification as defined by location where services will be provided (ARRT) within specified timeframe.
• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire.
• State and Federal background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Rotates in all diagnostic areas to develop technical skills.
• Performs imaging procedures based on patient status, requests, and imaging protocols.
• Produces high-quality images using imaging equipment and archiving systems.
• Selects exposure factors based on patient size and condition to optimize image quality.
• Minimizes radiation exposure to self and patients through shielding and proper technique.
• Educates patients about radiographic procedures and answers questions.
• Supports team interaction across radiology staff and departments.
• Participates in workflow coordination and clinical supervision as needed.
