Job summary

Enroot seeks a Development and Communications Manager to advance fundraising, communications, events, and development operations from Cambridge, MA. You will manage storytelling, donor communications, and coordinated campaigns in a small, fast-paced team.

This hybrid role requires strong project management, collaboration, and data-driven storytelling. You’ll partner with leadership to expand Enroot's fundraising impact while upholding equity-centered practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years in nonprofit development, communications, marketing, or fundraising.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and project management abilities with multiple timelines.
• Experience with CRM systems; Salesforce preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of development communications calendar.
• Coordinate donor newsletters, stewardship communications, and impact reports.
• Develop segmented donor engagement strategies and grant content.
• Manage Salesforce donor records, gifts, and dashboards.
• Plan fundraising events and support special projects with leadership.
