Job summary

Basic Needs Inc. of South Washington County seeks a Development & Communications Coordinator to lead fundraising campaigns, donor stewardship, and communications efforts.

You will manage donor databases, grants, and community engagement activities, working closely with the Executive Director on strategy and major initiatives. The role emphasizes ownership of projects, data accuracy, and timely reporting, with regular in-office work and occasional evening or weekend events across the Twin Cities

• Ability to learn fundraising, CRM, and communications platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead fundraising campaigns, donor information and stewardship systems.
• Coordinate communications and community engagement activities.
• Develop plans, manage execution, track results, and meet goals.
• Support major donors, grants, corporate partnerships, and signature events.
• Supervise interns in development and communications projects.
• Maintain development calendars, grant deadlines, and reporting milestones.
