Job summary

Department of Children and Family Services in Louisiana seeks a Business Analytic Specialist in East Baton Rouge Parish to collect, clean, and analyze complex data sets to support data-driven decisions across the agency.

You will design dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce, and Excel, collaborate with program staff, manage data sharing agreements, and ensure alignment with OTS and DCFS objectives.

Qualifications

• Six years of experience in accounting, budgeting, contracts, economics, engineering, finance, financial auditing, grants, human resources, information technology, management analysis, operational auditing, policy planning, procurement, social services, statistical analysis, tax collections, or tax enforcement.
• Bachelor’s degree required with relevant work experience; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience creating dashboards and analytics to inform program decisions.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean and analyze complex data sets to identify trends and insights.
• Create dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, Salesforce, and Excel.
• Collaborate with DCFS program staff to define data requirements and deliver analytics that support agency objectives.
• Ensure data sharing agreements and related documents are in place and compliant.
• Coordinate with Office of Technology Services on technology and contracting aspects.
