Job summary

Riverside Community Care in Upton, MA seeks a Community Crisis Stabilization Counselor to provide guidance, education, supervision, and direct supports to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use crises. This part-time position supports acute care residence operations and aims to stabilize crises and facilitate transition to community living.

Schedule includes Sundays 7am–3pm, with pay of $21.21–$22.27 per hour depending on education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree with one year’s experience or High School Diploma and three years related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to document progress and activities in program records in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance, education, supervision, and direct supports to consumers to maintain health and develop skills for independent living.
• Support crisis stabilization and case coordination within acute care residence.
• Collaborate with team to promote person-centered care and safety.
