WESTCARE CALIFORNIA INC is seeking an Addiction Counselor to provide counseling, group facilitation, and case management for clients in our program. This role includes intake, assessment of functioning, and development of Individual Treatment Plans, along with coordinating education and outreach.

You will maintain client records, participate in ancillary services, interact with the criminal justice system and referral sources, and uphold confidentiality and ethical standards.

Formación

• Two-year college degree in Addiction Counseling, Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Certification in DHCS-recognized program preferred; active pursuit encouraged.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver individual and group counseling services and case management.
• Oversee intake and program orientation for clients and families.
• Develop, implement, and review Individual Treatment Plans.
• Maintain client treatment files and documentation of activities.
• Interact with criminal justice system and referral sources as needed.
• Ensure confidentiality and ethical conduct.
