Job summary

Harvest Crossing Post Acute in Manteca, CA is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a full-time role in a skilled nursing facility. The COTA will implement treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, document patient progress, and collaborate with residents, families, and the rehabilitation team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled, graduated, or recently graduated from an approved Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Must hold or be eligible for an active California COTA license prior to practicing as required by law.
• CPR certification required; may obtain during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Implement established OT treatment plans under supervision.
• Provide OT interventions and monitor patient responses.
• Document patient progress and communicate with the rehab team.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility as directed.
• Maintain accurate documentation to meet licensing and payer requirements.
• Coordinate treatment activities with the rehabilitation team.
• Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance.
