Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver evidence-based therapy under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will implement treatment plans and monitor patient responses to achieve goals while adhering to facility policies.

You will also document weekly progress notes, collaborate with the care team, and uphold professional standards and compassionate patient service. Experience in geriatric or long-term care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid COTA license and state registration.
• Provide treatment under supervision of an OT.
• Experience with long-term/geriatric care preferred.
• Strong documentation and progress notes experience.
• Must be punctual and professional.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best-practice treatments under OT supervision.
• Provide treatment per goals developed by the OT.
• Document patient progress in weekly notes.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to deliver patient-centered care.
• Demonstrate exceptional patient service and clinical excellence.
