Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to deliver best-practice treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. The COTA will execute treatment plans, document patient progress, and collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure patient-centered care in a long-term care setting.

The ideal candidate maintains timely documentation, demonstrates clinical excellence, and commits to professional standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of practice.
• Provide comprehensive treatment under supervision of Occupational Therapist.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under OT supervision.
• Provide treatment aligned with goals developed by OT.
• Document patient progress weekly and timely.
