Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab in Madeira, OH is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support residents, help improve independence, and participate in a collaborative in-house rehab team.

You will implement treatment plans with the Occupational Therapist, document outcomes, and engage families, with opportunities to treat at multiple centers across the CommuniCare network.

Qualifications

• Must have COTA education from an accredited two-year program.
• State license or pending license as a COTA.

Responsibilities

• Treat residents to improve quality of life by compensating for limitations and increasing independence.
• Implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Occupational Therapist and educate staff and family.
• Ensure documentation complies with rehab department and facility guidelines under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Opportunity to treat at multiple locations to meet diverse resident needs.
