Overview

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant position at CommuniCare Rehabilitation, Mercer Healthcare Center. This is a full-time role with opportunities to make a direct impact with residents through therapy.

Responsibilities

• Implements treatment plans under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist, including direct treatment and collaboration with the treatment team.
• Educates treatment staff, other team members, and families involved in the treatment plan.
• Complies with documentation requirements of the rehab department and facility under supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
• Helps clients improve quality of life by addressing functional limitations and promoting independence.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) with an accredited two-year associate degree.
