Job summary

CommuniCare Rehab in Madeira, OH is seeking a Part Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house rehab team at Madeira Healthcare Center. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to impact residents' quality of life through skilled therapy.

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans under the supervision of an OT, collaborating with the care team, and documenting patient progress in accordance with facility guidelines.

Qualifications

• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) education from accredited two-year program.
• Valid or pending State COTA license.

Responsibilities

• Helps clients improve quality of life by compensating for limitations, improving motor skills, and re-entering the labor force.
• Implements treatment plan through direct treatment and collaboration with Occupational Therapist, education of treatment staff and other team members, and family consultation.
• Complies with the documentation requirements of the rehab department and facility under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.
