State of Missouri in Missouri is seeking a Construction Project Specialist within the Construction Administration Unit. The role entails coordinating internal teams, contractors, designers, and others to deliver quality, on-budget projects aligned with agency objectives and stakeholder expectations.

You will participate in pre-construction, progress, and coordination meetings, and support post-construction close-out and warranty activities as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of construction project experience.
• Knowledge of project management processes and procedures.
• Ability to analyze and interpret construction documentation and prepare cost estimates.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety codes, and environmental regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience with Adobe, Bluebeam, and E-Builder project management software.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving with stakeholders.

Aufgaben

• Prioritize service while planning, consulting, and coordinating new construction and repairs.
• Prepare construction plans, gather measurements, and prepare cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with plans across multiple projects and identify issues.
• Advise field staff and resolve technical and procedural problems.
• Write and review project documentation, submittals, payments, and close-out documents.
• Travel to job sites to consult with staff, officials, designers, engineers, and contractors.
